Day 3

Selfies

Selfie was the international Word of the Year for 2013.

I am sure there is a knack to taking the 'perfect' (or half decent) selfie. Maybe by the end of the month we will have a few more skills in this department. As we stand at Day 3, we still have a bit (lots) to learn. Thanks to Instagram we have a few filters to help us out a little. 

Holly and I have decided that it would be way more fun to have our weekday morning photos together! Thank you in advance to the lovely people who snap a pic or two of us over the next month.

Dressember is about believing that women have the power to address change and create a movement for the benefit of women worldwide. 

The rules are simple

Dressember 2013

Boys have Movember - now, we have 'Dressember' - a month of wearing dresses. At its core, Dressember is a "celebration of femininity and beauty". 

More importantly, Dressember is also about raising awareness and opposing human trafficking by aligning with International Justice Mission, a human rights organization that works to rescue victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and other forms of violent oppression. Participation in Dressember raises awareness and funds for IJM's work to continue. 

The heart of Dressember is freedom - that every woman, man, and child has the right to be free to live a vibrant life.
